This has been and still is my go to spot for my sushi and Thai food cravings for years! In my opinion it's the best sushi you can get this side of town and probably even most of miami. The portions are generous and the taste is so fresh and yummy. I have been dining here for years so when ever I feel like having something special or different I just ask my server to ask the chef if they can which they always say yes and they make me the most amazing odf the menu sushi rolls and thai food. The staff and service is friendly and knowledgeable. I can keep going on and on but it's definitely a place to try for any one who hasn't.

This place was nice and clean. The waiters were nice and there was nothing to complain about. Sushi were ok and the plates looked nice. The food looked colorful and it catches my stomach. My friends and I went in around 5ish and by 6-7pm there were a lot of costumers. There is also private room for parties and group reservations. I love Thai tea and they have the best Thai tea in the area! Everything was good, the price can be pricy. It really depends what you're getting! Nice place in all!

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this place. The food was amazing! I ordered the Chris roll and my gf got the fancy dragon roll and they were both amazing! We also got 2 Tom Yum soups and they were also delicious!

5 whole stars.... I was unfortunately not there long enough to get the full benefit of the service. The staff was super pleasant and very attentive. I stick to traditional Thai food. The 3 items I had were superb will be back.

After an exhilarating Everglades airboat tour, we found the perfect spot to unwind and savor delicious food at Bonsai Thai & Sushi. The ambiance was welcoming, and Amy’s exceptional service truly elevated our dining experience. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional, making sure our table had everything we needed with a warm smile. The spring rolls were crisp and flavorful—just right. The menu offered a great selection of Thai and sushi dishes. This is definitely a must-visit spot for anyone in the area.

Bonsai has been a staple in the area for years, and it’s amazing to see how well they’ve maintained their quality over time. I used to come here back in high school, and every visit since has been just as good—if not better. The sushi is always fresh and beautifully prepared, never once disappointing. Their cocktails are just as impressive, perfectly crafted to complement the meal. While prices have gone up over the years, the consistency in quality makes it well worth it. Beyond the food, the atmosphere is fantastic—whether you're here for a casual dinner or a special night out, it always feels inviting and enjoyable. Bonsai remains one of my go-to spots, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for top-tier sushi and a great dining experience

Very cozy place with very fresh sushi and Thai food. The staff is amazing, fast, and friendly, Min and Amy are some of the best servers and sweetest people I've encountered in a long time. Glad I found this place close to home.
